Michael Fronk

Boys Head Coach

I did not start playing lacrosse until the 6th grade after a skiing accident injured my pitching arm, but I have been hooked ever since on the speed, physicality and mental toughness that the game demands. I was very fortunate in my senior year to win the Maryland State MSA A Conference championship for St. Paul’s High School in Brooklandville, Maryland. I spent the next four years at Cornell University learning from a playing for the legendary Coach Richie Moran. After college I played for numerous club teams of which the most noteworthy is the Tahoe Dawgs, Lake Tahoe Classic runner-up team of 1998. Before coming back to Tahoe in 2018, I coached at three different high schools in Central Florida for about 12 years. My coaching style is a combination of preaching disciplined fundamentals, player development through heightened lacrosse IQ, and implementing strategic team concepts.

Michael L. Rosen

Boys Coach

Originally from Long Island, I grew up playing lacrosse. I was transferred to Tahoe for work and have now been here for 30 years. I played for one year for the University of Hartford in CT before “transferring“ to the University of Northern CO to ski race. After a long break from the game, I started coaching for North Tahoe and eventually took a seat on the NT Lax board. I coached for 5 years with NT and served as board president before joining TNT as an assistant coach for 3 seasons and joining the BOD as well. In addition to TNT and NT, I was head coach of the High Sierra Avalanche 2024 select team for 2 seasons. Currently, I am a US Lacrosse Level 2 Coach.

Dominic Chilimidos

Boys Coach

I started playing lacrosse when I was 14, played in high school at Campolindo HS in Moraga California, won the CIF championship as a junior and was a captain as a senior, played club ball at Colorado State and Saint Mary’s, and was a 1st team All-Conference pick every season I played. I moved up to Tahoe City full-time for work in August but have spent my previous summers working here and grew up skiing Alpine and Diamond Peak in the winter. I also help out with North Tahoe and the Avalanche programs and am very excited about the opportunity to work with TNT this Spring!

Darren Soi

Boys Coach

Growing up in the Hudson Valley region of New York State and the youngest of four I was introduced to lacrosse at a young age. Mostly subject to playing goalie as my older brothers practiced their hardest shots! After years of backyard ball, I began playing organized lacrosse in 7th grade. I fell in love with the speed, skill, and physicality of the game as well as the history and tradition that makes lacrosse so unique. I continued playing through high school representing Clarkstown North HS as team captain and earning various honors. My lacrosse career continued at St. Lawrence University in Canton, NY where I played midfield specializing at the face-off position. After graduation in 2000 I relocated to Tahoe and took a break from lacrosse to enjoy the wonderful environment that surrounds us. I began playing again for the Tahoe Dawgs in 2008 and continue to play, enjoying the comradery and intensity that got me interested in lacrosse as a kid. I assisted in starting the McQueen HS program in 2010 and coached at McQueen until 2014, coached several years for The Truckee Tribe Lacrosse Club 12U and 14U teams, and coached the High Sierra Avalanche 2028’s for the last 2 seasons. I returned to coaching high school lacrosse and the TNT Lacrosse Club in 2019. I am currently US Lacrosse Level 2 certified. As a coach I strive to develop a player’s character on and off the field. Instilling discipline, development, and respect for each other, the community, and the Tradition of Lacrosse.

Andrew Lentz

Boys Coach

I am 26 years old, and I have been living in Truckee for 4 years now, originally from the Bay Area. For high school and travel ball I played all over the field wherever I was needed. I was lucky enough to be recruited as an attackman to play lacrosse at Elmhurst University. While there I transitioned into defensive mid where I started for 3 years. I currently work at Golden Brands who do the beer distribution for the Tahoe area.
